RunaroundNone

Does your document ever mysteriously scroll back to the first page as you scroll through the document? This is caused by the infamous FrameMaker "Scrollback Bug." When a graphic's bounding box touches a text frame, FrameMaker may jump back to the previous insertion point in the document. This usually occurs when you have callout text frames with imported graphics.

The actual cause is the Runaround property on the graphic; if it is set to Run around Contour or Run around Bounding Box the scrollback problem can occur. Unfortunately, Run around Contour is the default setting when you import a graphic.

RuaroundNone solves this problem by setting the default Runaround property to Don't Run Around on imported graphics. For existing graphics in the document, you choose Graphics > Set Runaround to None. A confirmation dialog box will appear; click Yes and the job is done.
