BookPageCount
calculates the total number of pages in your book and puts the number in
a user variable called Book Page Count. You can use this variable
anywhere in your documents; for example, in footers to show the total
page count of the book. BookPageCount works invisibly by counting
pages when you generate your book. To use it, you create a user variable
called Book Page Count in the files in your book. Then use the Book Page
Count variable anywhere that you want to show the total book page count.
BookPageCount is totally transparent and does not have to be disabled
when you don't need it.
BookPageCount only counts files that are closed when you generate.
Make sure you close all of the files in your book before you generate
the book before printing. Only files with numeric page numbering
